There was peace once, though by now it is but a distant memory in the minds of those old enough to remember. There was order and cohesion, and nothing to fear. The Keepers of Hesperides stayed within their walled Haven, and none disrupted their peace. There was always a rumor that an object of unspeakable power lay hidden within those great walls, but in time the rumor grew dull with age. But now a young stallion, maddened with greed, is gathering all the information he can about this mysterious object of celestial power. Flanked by the powerful drafts of the northern lands, he is murdering and taking prisoners left and right. There is only a handful of southern herds that stand against him, led by the mysterious Theseus. If they are vanquished, the Keepers will be on their own. Chaos and uncertainty abound. How much longer can the forces of reason hold off this madman?

The character of the month for May is Radian, played by Dawn!
The newest of the Dioscuri, Radian is a happy little filly who easily befriends everyone she meets. She holds none of her mystery sire (Apollo)'s cruelty, though harbours a bit of a pathological liar's streak in order to protect herself. She knows she has abilities beyond the average equine, but she has no idea why. Her only hope of safety is to hide her true self, bite back her loneliness, and heed the call of her nomadic heart.
Note: This site was originally a new version of the equine RPG Avatrai, but the original came back so we made this site into something new! That explains the strange URL.

SUB-PLOTS (1 sub-board) This is where you post when you have an idea for a mini-plot involving a character of yours and you need other characters to play certain roles in your plans. You can request them to present an audition post for key roles. They can create a new character for the purpose of the mini-plot, or they can use a character they already have who is suited to the role.

COMMON GROUNDS
WINDSWEPT PLAINS To the east, near the Haven, lies a wide open space where mares can graze peacefully while waiting to be claimed by a stallion. The visibility is good, so if a frightening-looking equine approaches, you have enough notice to run the other way.
ANCIENT RUINS At the top of a hill lies a crumbling ruin with only a few columns still standing. Keep an eye out for the twin Fates, this is their favorite haunt outside of Chaos. You may place your riddle to steal a mare from another stallion. You may not steal a mare who has no stallion, that's not a steal. You may not have multiple mares' names in the riddle.
There can be no blood shed here.

CHAOS - 1 Viewing Well, our Fates have to live somewhere! And here they dwell; to the East of the Sun and West of the Moon. Chaos is a semi-mythical land inhabited only by the Fates and those they favor enough to make immortal. The Fates often let their power loose here; strange things are all over the place. Every night there is a full moon. Be careful where you walk; or you may run into one of the Fates' projects run amok. Perhaps they forgot to add any sky to a certain stretch, or maybe Artemis fogot to add any night. The realm extends indefinitely; and yet it always seems rather small. It is rather like Alice in Wonderland. Chaos cannot be reached by mortals unless it wants to be, and can be fickle about who it opens a portal for and when.

FAR NORTH (3 sub-boards) This is the Draft Brutes' homeland; it is where they brought Tartarus when he and Adamanthea eloped. It is a cruel, barren world; with barely a scrub to chew on and fierce predators just waiting to swallow you up. There is ice as far as the eye can see. It looks rather like a war zone, with caves peppering the land and cracks in the ice waiting to catch and snap unsuspecting legs...
THE WEAKLANDS (2 sub-boards) This large plot of land makes up the majority of the realm. Which is a shame, because it is in wretched decay. There is barely enough grass to go around; most of it is dead and browned anyway. Every so often, there are carcasses in various stages of decay strewn along the ground. The whole place carries the general air of depression.
LAND OF LIBERTY (7 sub-boards) To the south of the Weaklands lies the home of the last free equines of Imbros. Under the protection of their mysterious leader Theseus and the other stallions who fight for freedom, this rich fertile land thrives amidst its vast forests and sunny clearings.
HAVEN OF HESPERIDES (1 sub-board) All the outsiders see is a wall. A single, high-built wall. But dwelling just within, a wonder. This is where the Keepers of Hesperides live, those few souls whose single purpose is to guard the Object of Power. The Haven itself is an enchanted land, though few see inside it. Though now, the normally-peaceful residents are stirred up in a flurry of activity, struggling to make themselves ready for the coming war.
