The Secret :: Uncover the Lies
There was peace once, though by now it is but a distant memory in the minds of those old enough to remember. There was order and cohesion, and nothing to fear. The Keepers of Hesperides stayed within their walled Haven, and none disrupted their peace. There was always a rumor that an object of unspeakable power lay hidden within those great walls, but in time the rumor grew dull with age. But now a young stallion, maddened with greed, is gathering all the information he can about this mysterious object of celestial power. Flanked by the powerful drafts of the northern lands, he is murdering and taking prisoners left and right. There is only a handful of southern herds that stand against him, led by the mysterious Theseus. If they are vanquished, the Keepers will be on their own. Chaos and uncertainty abound. How much longer can the forces of reason hold off this madman?

The character of the month for December is Ziggurat, played by Spectra!
Ziggurat was crippled by grief and guilt at having witnessed his lead stallion Colateral's death. He went to the Keepers and became one of them to escape the burden of his emotions.
Honourable mention goes to HorseWhisperer's mare Callypso who was beating Zig soundly for most of the duration of the poll!
Note: This site was originally a new version of the equine RPG Avatrai, but the original came back so we made this site into something new! That explains the strange URL.
Borderland Woods The border of the free lands and the Weaklands is a thick forest stretching for miles across. This is where the free leader, Theseus, makes his home. It is vast and rolling, strewn with difficult footing and fallen logs, yet he patrols the entirety of this terrain in order to keep out tyrants. On occasion a captive might make it this far without being caught and beaten or killed, in which case Theseus will protect you if he's in the vicinity.
Valerian Hills Beautiful clusters of purple wildflowers dot the rolling hills of this fertile land. The grazing here is excellent, and the view of the surrounding land is spectacular.
Larkspur Valley The landscape dips into a slight bowl here, which makes it difficult to defend but optimal for plant life. Small clusters of flowers can be found in the long grasses at the bottom, but be careful to avoid the deep purple Larkspurs, they're poisonous! It's usually only in small amounts, so you might feel ill for a while or even get colic, but you would have to eat a lot to die from it.
Hyacinth Copse Seemingly impenetrable without great effort, the Copse is a wooded area interspersed with a thick mesh of bushes around the border. There is only one viable entrance, and it faces south, towards the beach. There is a small clearing at the center.
Domain of Adonis.

Amaryllis Falls This land is lush and fertile, with trees peppering the rolling hills. A small stream cuts through its center, heading towards the Seventh Sea. There is a small rocky waterfall in one of the dips between hills.
Delphinium Creek This territory is a vast clearing surrounded by trees. It gets its name from the fast-running stream that cuts through the western side, flowing towards the sea. It is too shallow for bathing, but great for drinking or splashing around.
Seventh Sea At the southern border of Imbros lies the glittering ocean. It is a popular spot to splash around, have fun, and meet others. Members from any free herds can enjoy the sun and waves. Mares, try not to make your stallion too jealous by flirting with the other stags!
