OK, this is the biggie. Tartarus, evil mastermind, ruler of the entire North, you get the point. But here's the deal:
You can only audition for Tartarus if you don't have any other canon characters. If you win the audition, you will not be able to apply for any other canon characters. If the admins don't like any of the submitted auditions, we hold the right to wait until there are more members and re-submit the entire thing.
Keep in mind that Tartarus is a very important character and you have to be able to write decent posts of a good length in order to provide the detail and development necessary for this character.
Remember, don't send in an epic length audition post if you cannot post that long normally. I want an example of what your regular everyday posts with him would be like. Also, keep in mind quality over quantity, though you need a certain quantity to show effort and creative thought.

Named after: Greek god of the Underworld
Breed: Arabian
Color: Murky grey
Height: average. (14.3-15.2)
Age: Around 8
Lover: Adamanthea
Offspring: N/A
Personality: Well, he is insane. He is evil, cruel, yes, but also completely insane. The Object of Power has gotten him so deluded that there is not a sane streak in him. He tells himself that he doesn't want the Object of Power for himself, he just wants it for the good of all the realm, but he is lying to himself. And the worst part is: he believes it.
History: Read the main history.
Appearance: He is a strange, murky gray color from all his time spent in caves and dark places. He is thin; his skin barely stretching enough to cover his bones. He has a strange look in his eye; that of one far away in his own mind. Adamanthea claims that he used to be handsome to look at; a rather dashing dapple gray coat complimented his slender build, but now he has all but wasted away.
There are a few posts with him in the Northern Archives where he was played by Spectra while we were waiting for audition entries and by Crash until she had to leave. I don't think Simytoe ever used him much. Ami had him in only a few threads. We need an active Tartarus for once!
Note: this is just the baseline for Tartarus; we will trust you to build up his personality and such more in the audition, and, if you get that far, in actually RPing him.
