Audition: Aristaios, first of the Dioscuri [re-opened]

There was peace once, though by now it is but a distant memory in the minds of those old enough to remember. There was order and cohesion, and nothing to fear. The Keepers of Hesperides stayed within their walled Haven, and none disrupted their peace. There was always a rumor that an object of unspeakable power lay hidden within those great walls, but in time the rumor grew dull with age. But now a young stallion, maddened with greed, is gathering all the information he can about this mysterious object of celestial power. Flanked by the powerful drafts of the northern lands, he is murdering and taking prisoners left and right. There is only a handful of southern herds that stand against him, led by the mysterious Theseus. If they are vanquished, the Keepers will be on their own. Chaos and uncertainty abound. How much longer can the forces of reason hold off this madman?

The board is set, the pieces are in play. Whose side will you join?

Note: It is in the best interests of the Dioscuri to keep their otherness hidden, as normal equines could turn against them out of fear.

This thread remained his only appearance, and you don't have to play him that way at all. Being a Dioscuri, we're still gonna be picky as hell, but this way you don't have to come up with absolutely everything yourself. And he comes with a pic!

Named after: One of the sons of Apollo

Breed: Dioscuri (Fate x mortal)
Lineage: Apollo x Caliente (deceased)

Color: Bay roan
Markings: Black sunburst on his forehead (usually covered by his forelock), three black stripes on each haunch.
Appearance: Golden eyes, slightly Mustang-like build, since his dam was a Spanish Mustang.
Height: 16hh
Personality: Very morally conflicted. He's angry with Apollo for tricking his mother into breeding (he appeared in the guise of Theseus) and then revealing himself, which made her lose her mind. But he also doesn't trust Artemis, since she just wanted to wipe him off the face of the earth. Apollo is a smooth talker, and has somewhat succeeded in convincing Ari that Artemis is a heartless cow. He doesn't support Apollo's immoral ways, but he's convinced Artemis is even more evil, and a liar. He fears both of them, to an extent.
History: Not much! He's one of the Dioscuri who know that they're related to the Fates (the others are just very confused). Of course, Apollo didn't exactly go about conceiving him in a nice way, as explained above. Following his mother's death (she just kind of wasted away), he went to confront Apollo. He wasn't even a year old at the time. Artemis realized what Apollo had done and was not happy about it. Then they proceeded to fight over his allegiance (verbally) for a little while, with Apollo narrowly coming out on top. The rest is up to you!

You have a lot of leeway with this guy, just make it awesome!
