The first chapter of this story, is a fairly common one. The street was shared, by human and canine alike. The dogs had formed three packs, each of which was very different from one another. Each of which had its own side story.
The City Pack, was run by an ex-fighter named Echo. He was a ruthless leader, who claimed no mate, and concidered every female around to be his own. This pack kept to themselves, but showed no mercy when approched by outsiders. The Beta, Damien was a well known forcebreeder, who took down many a lone female.
The Farm Pack, was run by Diego, and ex-cop dog who had retired on the land. He ruled peacefully, but kept no member who couldnt pull his wieght around. His beta, Anya, was a sweet tempered city dog, come to the pack to find peace.
Echo and Anya had a run in at summer's end, and Anya was raped, Diego killed. Anya succeded her alpha and was left in charge of the pack, while pregnant with a rival leader's pups.
The Zoo Pack, was run by Sasha, an ex-show dog who believed in all things, beauty could be found. She ran the pack alone for a single season, and then dissapeared.
A new year ascended on the city of Machlyne, and with it a new reign of power. The local Laboratory was broken into by an activist, the inhabitantse set free. This broght changes to the land, some seen, and some unseen. Over-all, everything seemed normal in the city, but as usual, each pack had thier own story.
The City Pack alpha Echo, was killed by Miu and Cabal, to Laboratory escapiees. They renamed the pack Mecca Pack, and inflicted their rules on the current members. Damien held his position as Beta, in an act of submission that angered many members, causing quite a few to leave the land. He also claimed a mate, Jynx, but refused to tame his stubbern ways.
The Farm Pack, was abandoned by Anya, who found herself unable to rule after the birth of the late Echo's puppies. The land was claimed by Micha, who claimed the son of Echo as Hier. She too abandoned her post, and left it unclaimed. Mythos, Hier mentioned, also dissapeared.
The Zoo Pack was claimed by Xiomara, a strange creature dedicated to making a safe place for all of the worlds "odities" and brought in a couple members during the year. She renamed the pack Diligenter Pack, and remains alpha there.
Halloween this year was a night clouded in mystery. A strange, rabid seeming dog, showed up in the night, giving birth to an even stranger pup. Luukure, as she named him before dying, was far from normal. He stayed a loner, being raised by Rats, and survived the winter by sheer chance.
Chapter Three is still being written. The characters are still in play. Things are calm in the city of Machlyne, but change is on the horizon. Dogs have been disappearing into the woods, rumors of a mystic ebon wolf flit from pack to pack. Strangers have been arriving, more and more each day. Different from most dogs, it has yet to been decided where they come from or what they want. As well, the Mecca pack has been busy preparing, but for what? Come, join the story as it is being written, see your name among the pages and decide, be you hero? Or be you villain?
